Terms of Service

1. The service

Waino (waino.ai) is a workspace for local businesses that brings business records, analysis, maps, and workflows together while clearly separating facts, estimates, and data gaps.

These terms apply to every visit to and use of Waino. By using the platform you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

Provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials safe. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

Tell us immediately through the in-app assistant or the signed-in feedback channel if you notice unusual activity.

3. Early access and pricing

The platform is currently in early access and free to use.

Before any paid plan launches, we will announce it in advance inside the product and give you a choice period. No charge will ever happen without your explicit consent — never a silent debit.

4. Your data

You keep all rights to your business data. You grant us permission to process it only to provide the service to you.

We never sell your business data to any third party.

5. Collecting public information

To provide peer and market analysis, the platform collects publicly displayed business information from public web pages (such as public listings, ratings and review counts, and publicly displayed prices), including sources like Google Places.

Review text is never stored in full; only structured conclusions such as ratings, counts, and themes are kept.

Only authorize collection or claiming of store information that you have the right to provide.

6. Limits of analysis and advice

Analysis, estimates, and suggestions from the platform are for business reference only. They are not legal, tax, financial, or any other professional advice.

Anything labeled as an estimate or a data gap carries uncertainty, and we label it as such — estimates are never dressed up as facts.

Final decisions and outward actions always stay with you.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the platform for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity; do not attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or large-scale scraping of the platform itself; do not disrupt its normal operation.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section.

8. Third-party services

The platform relies on third-party services including Supabase (data storage), Cloudflare Turnstile (human verification), and Google Places (public business information); Square will be used when billing launches.

Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Changes and availability

Features evolve continuously during early access. We work hard to keep the service stable but do not promise uninterrupted availability.

Material changes affecting your data or fees will be announced in the product in advance.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waino is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss.

Our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you actually paid in the past twelve months — which is zero during the free early-access period.

11. Termination

You can stop using the platform and request account deletion at any time; your business data and analysis snapshots are then cascade-deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

If you breach these terms, we may suspend or terminate your access and will tell you why.

12. Changes to these terms and contact

Updates are published on this page with a new effective date; continued use after an update means acceptance.
